OMNI 2” XS is a compact omnidirectional sound source composed of an array of twelve 2” loudspeakers. The array is designed to provide isotropic radiation at every frequency octave band.
The speakers were selected after tests and CAE simulations to meet the required performance. The portable source provides 117 dBA sound power when fed with the AMG mini amplifier and noise-generator signal.
Its compact 300 mm height means it does not require a tripod for support. It is intended for measurements including NVH, naval, aerospace and other confined environments where a classic dodecahedron and amplifier may not fit.
